ADR UK and The British Rubber Co.
Journey from partnership to an acquisition
How did we come to be together
At ADR UK, we’ve built our reputation as a market leader in the production and distribution of axles and suspension systems for agricultural machinery. The British Rubber Company brings to the table a nearly 100-year legacy in tyre and rim distribution, with a special focus on tractor tyres, vintage tyres, and fitting and repair services.
What drew us together was a shared commitment to quality, customer care, and a deep understanding of the industries we serve. BRC’s incredible ability to source products from both Far Eastern and UK suppliers, along with Tom Card’s unparalleled knowledge and leadership, made this partnership not only logical but genuinely exciting.
Together, we’re now positioned to offer a more complete, end-to-end solution for agricultural and trailer equipment — from axles and suspension to tyres, rims, and expert service.

What prompted the move
This acquisition was driven by a number of factors:
- To expand ADR’s product and supplier portfolio, particularly in tyres, rims, and related accessories so that we can offer customers a complete solution for their trailers and other agricultural equipment
- To support our mission of holistically serving trailer and implement markets through streamlined operations and with improved supply chain management to ensure a reliable and consistent service
- To build on BRC’s trusted market presence to introduce our products into other off-road markets so they too can experience improvements to their operations
- To bring together experienced teams passionate about customer service, technical excellence, and long-term value to ensure our customers have the best solution for their business and application
We’re already working to align our operations, share expertise, and make sure customers feel the positive impact from day one.
What’s next – our shared vision
While BRC will continue operating under its own name for the time being, its integration into the ADR family will pave the way for:
- Broader and more diverse product offerings underpinned by both companies’ strengths
- Enhanced logistical capabilities across the UK and beyond
- A continued focus on customer-first service with greater access to technical support and product innovation
- Long-term investment in serving the UK’s agricultural community more effectively than ever
- Driving innovation ensuring our products keep pace with the demands of modern machinery
Pawel Tomczak, Managing Director of ADR UK Tyremart LTD, comments on the acquisition: “We are thrilled to welcome BRC into the ADR family. Combining BRC’s rich heritage and distribution expertise with our extensive track record in supporting OEMs in the agricultural machinery sector will undoubtedly bolster our market position and enhance our service offerings.”
Tom Card, Managing Director of BRC adds: “It is an absolute honour for myself and The British Rubber Company to join the ADR Group family. With a 98-year footprint in the agricultural sector, I truly believe that together with ADR, we can now further expand our offering without compromise to the high quality of service and delivery we are known for. I’m excited for the future.“
As BRC approaches its centennial anniversary, this partnership honours its past while securing its future. And for ADR, it’s another bold step toward becoming the most complete and trusted partner for agricultural mobility solutions, at home and abroad.
A benefit to our customers
The acquisition of BRC by ADR came as welcome news to Phil Rees, Managing Director of M4 trailers and Phillip Rees Welding Ltd. “ADR and The British Rubber Company have been long-standing, trusted suppliers to us at M4 Trailers. Their products are second to none, and their service has always been reliable and responsive. The acquisition brings together two companies that understand our industry inside out. It’s a win for businesses like ours – streamlining supply while maintaining the quality and expertise we’ve come to rely on.“
A message to our customers, partners, and community
This partnership is a celebration of shared values, mutual strengths, and a clear vision for the future. We see it as an important milestone in ADR UK’s journey to better serve the farmers, engineers, and businesses that keep our industries moving.
Whether you’ve worked with ADR or BRC in the past, we want you to know that the best is yet to come.
